We're an advertorial publication

Motor Watch Report publishes editorial content on the UK motor finance industry and the FCA's motor finance redress scheme. Some of that content is designed to inform readers about their options, including the option to be connected with an FCA-regulated claims partner.

How we're paid

When a reader completes the eligibility form on our site and is connected with our regulated claims partner, we receive a referral fee from that partner. We are not paid by lenders, dealers or brokers.

You can always complain for free

You do not need to use a claims service. Every UK consumer can complain about mis-sold motor finance free of charge — directly to their lender, through the FCA's redress scheme, or via the Financial Ombudsman Service. We will always tell you this.

Editorial independence

Referral fees do not influence which facts we report. Content on this site is written to be accurate, non-misleading and compliant with the FCA's requirements around motor finance communications.
